At yesterday’s Karamatura Heritage Farm Day in Huia, a pig hunter displayed this impressive array of jaws of feral pigs hunted in the Waitakere ranges. Feral pigs are a threat to native flora and fauna and likely vectors of the kauri dieback disease.
what a huge jaw! those teeths are just enormous!
They were big pigs.
They are destructive where they have gone feral. These are huge and the teeth are frightening! Great angle for the shot.
Wow. Frightening is a good word here!
