Painted Boxes: Fruitvale School Children

(Wednesday is for painted boxes.)

This transformer is found in Croydon Road, not far from the gates to Fruitvale School. It was painted by Judith Moore-Chisholm in 2010, depicting children’s scenes. As the artist told me, the faces are those of actual children at the school.

  1. Very cool.I’m guessing the kids loved that!

  2. The signal boxes are extremely good. The kids who were chosen will be showing their children on day.

  3. What a fantastic idea. I wish the Cape Town City Council could see this! I think I will send this post to them.
