High above a path in Grey Lynn Park this intrepid knight of the 20th century is prepared to take on any foe…

For a few moments the sun was filtered by a thin cloud layer for this backlit image.

Grey Lynn Park has a number of sculptures, commissioned by local residents from artists with a connection to the area. This one is entitled On the Backs of Others (Inia Taylor 1996). Made from totara wood and copper.
