The simple idea was that as many as possible bake up a storm on Sunday, bring the results to QEII Square on Monday morning, and everybody can purchase goodies for morning tea or lunch by donation. The response, from businesses and individuals, was overwhelming, so much so that Glenn had to devote several days to the logistics of the event. An army of volunteers, dressed for the occasion, attended a good number of tables on Queen Elizabethh II Square, laden with delicious goods.
The weather was brilliant, and it all went well — as far as I could see (and taste!), anyway.
