In the Fisher & Paykel Social Kitchen

How’s that for announcing what you have to offer: nothing less than satisfaction, and it is evident that many took advantage of the goodies. The guys from Fisher and Paykel not only had their newest kitchens on show, they also provided excellent food and drinks in an inflatable pop-up space (“The Social Kitchen”) at Britomart. And let’s be fair, the fare came from The Engine Room, Northcote Point, design by the Alt Group.

Urbis Design Day is an event organised by Urbis magazine in which over a dozen design conscious firms to crowds of paying followers who are chauffeured between venues in taxi vans working the loop. At each stop the eyes can feast on the latest in exciting developments that can enhance modern living, while the palate was entertained with the finest of snacks. This is the life (to coin a phrase…)!

Thanks are due to my dear friends Ingrid and David who presented me with a double ticket for the day. What an experience! Satisfaction indeed.

  2. Two of my absolute NZ favourites – the Engine Room and Urbis. Left too early. Or should have stayed longer
