It differs in style from the neighbouring semi-industrial premises. Can’t wait to see the windows when they arrive. The signage says “Iranian Community Centre”, but beyond that I was unable to find any info. Built from precast concrete panels, they expect to have it all closed in by the end of July.

It is June 1, the beginning of winter, and CityDailyPhoto members are showing images under the theme “Under Construction”. Click here to view thumbnails for all participants

  1. If those windows are filled with a modern incarnation of stained-glass, it will be stunning. How about you revisit in say 6 weeks or so?

  2. I love it when buildings like this turn up. It makes things interesting and breaks the monotony. I’d also like to see it when it’s all done.

  4. The architecture definitely looks Middle East with those windows. Clean, sharp photographic images.

My link to the portal for theme day photos does not work, hope you visit me anyway. That darn computer-voodoo is at work again!
