This is a composite of four glass panes on what I think used to be the Warehouse for the Geoerge Court department store at the corner of Cross Street and Mercury Lane. I must have driven past it on numerous occasions without noticing it, as it blends quite well into the drab grey of the building (the actual George Court building between Cross Street and Karangahape Road has been done up and converted into apartments).

Is that a red goose laying golden eggs up there?

  3. How amusing … not at all like building artwork.

I do sometimes catch a decent bird shot but only the big ones that sit still.
