Koru is the Maori word for the unfurling fern frond (the logo of Air New Zealand, our national carrier, is a stylised koru). In front of the Leys Institute in St Marys Bay are three bicycle stands in the form of such scrolls. And if you need help, the artist (I don’t know who) has even included instructions.

I liked the angle of the picture above best, but below is another view without the intrusion of the photographer.
