Erno Hajos in Discussion

At the Urbis Design Day, we found Erno Hajos showing off his art at the showrooms of Kohler. Erno hails from Hungary, and incorporates elements of alpine peasant art in his decoration of vanities. While at first he appeared suspicious of the intrusion of my camera, he was happy to discuss his work and painting technique using special imported ceramic paints. I could only admire his ability to concentrate on his delicate art with all the crowds milling about around him.

  1. This is really beautiful. Years ago I had a friend who gave me a small tablecloth on which her Polish mother had embroidered a similar design.
