By the big Te Atatu roundabout, there are decorations celebrating the maritime nature of the Te Atatu Peninsula. Some are in metal, incorporated in barriers along the footpath, some are mosaics inserted in the paving by the playground. I don’t know who designed them. The mosaics in the pavement were funded by Woolworth (N.Z.) Ltd, Te Atatu Branch.
