Pied Stilt, Blockhouse Bay
The tide is going out, and a light breeze ripples the water ever so gently. Closer inshore, the surface of the water is smooth. A pied stilt (himantopus himantopus) takes its deliberate strides through the water.

I can sit and watch water birds for ages, Paul. You have wonderful clarity in your Pied Stilt. Sure looks tranquil to me.
Excellent theme day´s choice. Well done, take care!
