Te Ara Tahuhu Walking Street

Te Ara Tahuhu Walking Street

Looking from Atrium on Takutai towards the Britomart Transport Centre. This pedestrian precinct is the roof of the underground Britomart railway station, and the truncated cones along the way are the light shafts that can be seen in yesterday’s picture.

Trivia of the day: a truncated cone such as here is called a “frustum of a cone” (often wrongly called “frustrum”).
