Land of the Long White Cloud

Cotton Balls

Cotton Balls

The long white cloud may have temporarily disintegrated into lots of cotton balls, but beneath it is the land of the long white cloud, a welcome sight after an absence of six weeks, a glorious holiday – but nothing beats home, and flying along the coast north of Auckland (on CX107 from Hong Kong) was bliss.

A wonderful spot – choose your ambience between noisy students or laid-back seniors, all improving the world in their own ways…

Still living off the memories of a great time in Paris.

Reflection in "6 Standing Panes"

The Centre Pompidou is hosting a retrospective “Panorama” of the work of Gerhard Richter (until September 24). The images shown here are reflections in the piece “6 Standing Panes“. Depending on the light, the position, the exposure, and also the number of people blocking light out, there were numerous different effects – always with Paris in the background.
