Unitec, Building 01

This is building 01 of Unitec Institute of Technology in Point Chevalier, Auckland. Built in the 1860s as a lunatic asylum, with bricks most probably manufatured on site. Timespanner has a timeline of the history of this building.

The City Daily Photo theme for the month of July is “Facade”. Click here for more facades from around the world.
