After the Rain

After the Rain

A spider (probably Cambridgea sp) has constructed its horizontal sheet web across one of our bromeliads. Raindrops got caught in the web, and looking down we see the inner leaves of the plant repeated many times.

  1. Wonderful image, but are you sure that the web wasn’t created by Avanacluia sp?

  2. That would be one of the rare occasions when a species appears both in the plant and animal kingdoms… (anti-spam word was “sanity”).
