
Spillway, Lower Nihotupu Reservoir
Always a fascinating place for photography, the curve of the spillway of the Lower Nihotupu reservoir had a shadow treescape for a bonus. Water levels are down after our long dry summer (the Watercare website said 62% full over all storage, about 73% for this reservoir. Remnants of sea cloud brush the hills.
Do the curves surve a purpose? It looks like they have collected so water plants.
