Te Henga Dune Convenience
Suppose you are in the middle of nowhere on a sand dune like the one shown in yesterday’s post. And suppose nature calls. Then you will be relieved to find this place (just to the right of where the second image yesterday was taken). And look how lovingly it has been decorated with art and poetry, to provide a fulsome experience.
By Trude Bethell:
Sing me a song of the wind
breathe me the fresh Tasman sea air
grant me my wish dear
while I am at peace within
Our beautiful Te Henga
sensing, holding, being,
grand and strong as you are
Family Community United
We stand in awe with feet in
your Sands
And by Bobby:
Stop a while to pause and see,
Be still within,
breathe deep and
smile.

If nature were calling I’d be down right grateful to find this in the dunes. Otherwise, I’d be surprised and intrigued. Thanks for contributing to this week’s Monday Mural.
