Upside Down
The City Daily Photo theme for July is “upside down”. Much scratching of head and some panic ensued on trying to capture that in a picture. After futile attempts to shoot a selfie while performing a headstand, I relaxed on the couch where the solution stared me in the eye: this issue of the New Zealand Herald’s weekend magazine ‘canvas’ had a multipage advertising section that was set off from the rest by going back to front and upside down.
More ways of expressing the concept can be found here.

Upside Down
What good luck and good timing to have your contribution right there!
Happy Theme Day
This is a good and simple pair of upside down photographs. I have seen magazine spreads that are upside down and have wondered why the publishers do it that way. I suppose it is to catch our attention. It worked.
I’ve seen the odd comic book that’s a flip book before.
Interesting choice for the theme day. Well done.
Why look far if the solution is right in front of one’s eye? 😉 Great captures!
An unexpected and original approach.
Oh gosh! What a find. Perfect.
Yep, that’s it, for real. I’m glad you got the photo to share for Theme Day.
For some jevenile reason, it annoys me intensely when magazines do this! Good eye for spotting it, though.
