I find it impossible to go past such a beautiful specimen of a fly agaric (Amanita mascara) – that’s what most insects seem to say, too, hence most of the fly agarics that you find are in poor state of repair…

You can’t see it from this angle — but there were actually fairies dancing under the cap of the shroom.
