One more item from the Headland Sculpture on the Gulf exhibition. This suspended stainless steel structure is entitled Lookout – Pacific Radiolaria, by Virginia King. Diameter: 2 metres.

This elegant stainless steel sculpture (5 metres up, 1 metre down) by Virginia King graces the new wharf at Hobsonville Point. The form is inspired by the traditional Maori eel traps.

Rewarewa Bridge, New Lynn

A pedestrian bridge crossing the Rewarewa Creek and connecting Caspian Close and Hugh Brown Drive. Design by renowned Auckland sculptor Virginia King, it is one of the former Waitakere City Council’s “Art Bridges”.
