Te Whitinga (The Crossing)
The elegant pedestrian/cyclist bridge, is named “Te Whitinga” (The Crossing). It spans State Highway 20 at the Alan Wood Reserve, Mount Albert, and is beautifully illuminated at night.

Landmark House
Durham Street East allows a narrow view of the corner of Landmark house on Queen Street. Built in 1928-1930 in art deco style for the Auckland Electric Power Board, who occupied the upper floors until their move to Newmarket in 1968. Since then, major refurbishments of the interior have taken place, retaining some of the historic parts.
