Big Mural, Green Bay

Not too long ago, a new mural appeared on a concrete block wall, bringing the bush and its inhabitants right to the roadside. I don’t know who designed and painted it. A nice touch to incorporate the container behind the wall into the work. Painter: Ellen Kerssens.

It has to be one of the most understated welcome signs – maybe a bit like Green Bay itself?

Green Bay Mural by Doug Ford

A new mural has appeared in Green Bay, still not quite finished. The artist is Doug Ford, who appeared on these pages before. Here he shows a panorama as one might see from the Green Bay cliffs.

Not averse to a spot of mischief, he incorporated his dog into the design. Looking forward to see how he’ll blend in with the continuation of the work on the left.

This utility box is situated at the intersection of Godley Road and Castleford Street, Green Bay. Tucked away in the shade, it mirrors a nearby shrub of bottlebrush (callistemon).
