Orange rubbish bags and blue recycle “wheelie bins” grace the length of Castleford Street, Green Bay. From July 1, the blue recycle bins will be replaced by larger green bins and collection days changed.

Not too long ago, a new mural appeared on a concrete block wall, bringing the bush and its inhabitants right to the roadside. I don’t know who designed and painted it. A nice touch to incorporate the container behind the wall into the work. Painter: Ellen Kerssens.

A new mural has appeared in Green Bay, still not quite finished. The artist is Doug Ford, who appeared on these pages before. Here he shows a panorama as one might see from the Green Bay cliffs.
Not averse to a spot of mischief, he incorporated his dog into the design. Looking forward to see how he’ll blend in with the continuation of the work on the left.

This utility box is situated at the intersection of Godley Road and Castleford Street, Green Bay. Tucked away in the shade, it mirrors a nearby shrub of bottlebrush (callistemon).
